2011 MIBF

In the spirit of the Fair's spotlight on the literature and culture of China, the official Book Fair poster was created by Ye Hongxing, a native of China whose artwork has earned her a place in the top exhibitions in the world.

A native of China, Hongxing's artwork has earned her a place in the top exhibitions in Shanghai, Germany, Miami, New York and Washington, D.C. In recent years, she was named as one of the top 20 “New & Hot” artists in China by the director of the Asian Art Museum in California and the artistic director of Cologne Art Expo. “Books have no boundaries,” said Hongxing. “They are the embodiment of the spiritual wealth of every human on the planet. I have attempted to reflect this universality in my work.” She graduated from the Guilin Educational Academy in Guangxi and China’s Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.
