About Us

How We Began...

Founding her own Internet station was only a dream for Lillian S. Cauldwell when she was associated with Global Talk Radio and Artist First Radio. She wanted to do Internet talk radio better, proving that a network could be a viable and competitive force. It should educate, enlighten and entertain. On December 5, 2006 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she seized that opportunity and created PWRTalk. Her motto and that of the station's: "The World On Your Terms!"

For her first interviews, she called upon her book publishing and bestselling author background to interview mid-list and unknown authors. Poets soon became part of the mix and other media-related guests wanting to promote and brand themselves.

In addition to her broadcasting skills, Lillian has a philanthropic, caring heart. Through the years, her station has promoted successful Radio-thons that help unknown charities gain recognition with the Internet listening public. A side benefit has been offering program that helps connect needy families to target doctors and medical facilities.

PWRTALK Mission Statement:

To become known as the leading public access commercial Internet radio network offering access to air time for people of all ages; forward thinking and creative companies and organizations; and giving today's students the opportunity to learn, engage and give back to their communities.

To assist and help inner-city and multicultural, disadvantaged students with the opportunity to learn new technological skills and expertise so they become competitive in business and education. As a result, they become tomorrow's leaders.

To become a multi-media company which encompasses all of the current and future technologies necessary to educate, train and prepare people to fulfill their goals, have successes, learn from their miscues and savor their achievements.

To provide a series of "Speech and Debate" webinars and on-line forums for listeners.
